The opening scene its shows a long shot of David in the middle of a dark room which puts all the attention on him and tells us that he is either alone or in his own head.The shot also shows us What attitude David might have because of him looking down and him holding his hands together may show him being worried,focus or nervous.Another long shot shown is David in front of thousands of people that support him this instantly indicates to us that David is really important and a peoples person and this shot also shows us Davids point of view,what he sees whenever he gives a speech that will either give him a good reputation or a good lead against his opponent.

Another technique used is Music and Costume throughout the movie to either build emotion/suspense or introduced and state the characters attitude in the scene.Music or sound is used to either set the attitude of the scene or the characters emotions.These techniques are used by producers and movie makers to make the audience feel the emotions that the movie is giving out from the music.Costumes are very important in the film because it really puts the actors in the feeling of being the character in the film.In the film they use costumes to identify who and what the character does such as the adjustment bureau look fairly unusual to the most citizens in New York with their group in a building rooftop at night time,this indicates to us that these people have different lives from most humans and have a secret they would not want anyone to know of or they are very sprcial people with skills and lives unusual
