Tomorrow, When The War Began follows the adventures of Ellie Linton and her friends: teenagers growing up in the fictional Australian town of Wirrawee. Whilst camping at a local spot affectionately called Hell, the friends come to realize that their town has been invaded by an unknown foreign power.

This book, tells the fictional story of teenagers that try to survive while their town is held, hostage by foreign soldiers. It shares events that relate to the real-life experiences of survivors of invaders. Book relates to how actual teenagers will react to challenges of life and death.
